Skills

Save instructions you use often and attach them to any run.

Download Windows beta

Skills are saved instructions you can attach to a run — review checklists, style rules, project conventions, or how you like answers written.

What skills are for

  • code review
  • concise answers
  • teaching or explanation
  • pointing runs at the right Project Knowledge
  • project conventions you repeat often

How they fit

Vicode manages its own skills inside the app. If you keep skill folders for other AI tools, Vicode leaves them alone.

Use them deliberately

Attach a skill when it changes how you want the model to behave for the task. A skill is not a substitute for a clear request or the right context.

Skills live inside the app — there is nothing separate to download from this site.
