How to report Vicode for Windows issues and what to include in useful beta feedback.
Vicode is in Windows beta. The fastest support path is a clear issue report with enough detail to reproduce the problem.
Report an issue
Use the Vicode Windows issue tracker for reproducible bugs, installer issues, provider setup failures, and app behavior problems.
You can also email support@vicode.io for support or privacy questions.
Include this information
- Vicode version
- Windows version
- install path, such as installer, unpacked build, or local dev build
- provider used, such as local Ollama, hosted Ollama, or OpenAI API-key fallback
- exact steps to reproduce
- expected behavior
- actual behavior
- screenshots, logs, or error text when available
Do not include secrets
Never include API keys, provider tokens, passwords, private repository contents, customer data, or credentials in issue reports or screenshots.
